Laura Dern is a genius.
Man, she’s giving the performance of a lifetime on Enlightened. I would marry Mike White. And, this is kind of a backhanded compliment, but Jonathan Demme’s direction is the best work he has done in 20 years or so. This show is made for me. I love it I love it I love it.

I’m in Season 3 right now. Have they mentioned how Marie is like totes crazy about violet? I mean, I know they’ve touched on her OCD tendencies, so I’m chalking it up to that, but Skyler, or however the eff you spell her name, was stunned by her stealing and has grown up with her and…I just think maybe she would also notice that her sister is super obsessed with purple.
